Mohamed Bourriz
PhD candidate at Friedrich Schiller University Jena

Mohamed is a PhD candidate in the GIScience Group at the University of Jena. His research focuses on spatial modeling of desert pavement distribution and characteristics at a regional scale in the Namibian Desert. His work integrates geomorphometric and remote sensing data, producing outputs that serve as critical inputs for atmospheric dust cycle models. This project is funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG).
